Bruno Silva's photography is rooted in a documentary practice with a particular interest in territory and memory: the relationship with places and their transformation through recurrent and continuous photographic surveys. His work also explores the role of photography as a medium: its potentialities and, above all, its limitations.

Currently, he works as a freelancer and educator in the field of photography. Since 2018, he has exhibited regularly in Portugal and abroad, with notable solo exhibitions at Galeria Adorna, Porto (Portugal); Festival Circulation(s), Paris (France); Bienal de Arte Contemporânea de Cerveira (Portugal); Bienal de Fotografia de Vila Franca de Xira (Portugal), Festival Encontros da Imagem, Braga (Portugal), Imago Photo Fest, Lisbon (Portugal).
Collectively, he has participated in exhibitions such as the Festival FotoNoviembre, Spain; PhMuseum Days, Italy; Festival Les Boutographies, France; Off Grid, Austria; Festival Photo Alicante, Spain, to name a few.
